Feeding the Masses |
| 02/02/05 As reported by Fangoria "Feeding the Masses" is a production of Rhode Island film company Scorpio Films, in the style of classic Zombie films such as Dawn of the Dead. Directed by Richard Griffin, written by Trent Haaga, and produced by Ted Marr. Fangoria reports that Marr describes it as "a social satire with tits, and lots of blood. It’s our kind of blown-out-of-proportion idea of what would happen if dead people started coming back to life and killing living people in the classic manner. How would the news media react to this? Would they really get out there and say, ‘Yes, we’re going to do some hard reporting, and talk to scientists and find out what’s causing these people to come back,’ or would they go, ‘This local mom-and-pop store is suffering horribly because there’s no business’? Would they drop the ball? Obviously, our answer to that is yes. |
